Wow...666 pageviews...I don't know if I should be happy or scared. But anyway thank you guys so much for checking out my blog. I really appreciate it. So in honor of this many pageviews, I feel like talking about an evil game...no not Sonic '06. Enough people have ranted about that. Besides, a new Legend of Zelda game is right around the corner. So, let's talk about an evil Zelda game. There was once a Zelda game not made by Nintendo (I think) called Link: The Face of Evil. Now, some people think that Skyward Sword is a bad Zelda game (which I don't completely agree with), but this one is an absolute worse. It's a shame that this game is even considered a Zelda game. Thank GOD that it's not a part of the timeline. First thing wrong with the game, they gave Link a voice. Not his usual screams and stuff, no. AN ACTUAL VOICE! Now, I wouldn't mind it if the voice acting was good. Sadly, it's not. The voice acting in this game is terrible and they made Link into some kind of pervert that's always begging a kiss from Zelda....Seriously? I honestly like silent hero Link A LOT better than Link with a voice. Another thing you'll notice is that the cutscenes and artwork are terrible!! It's like a three, not five, THREE year old did the designs for this game. If you're making a game, make sure your artist can actually DRAW! Just saying. The gameplay sucks as well. First off, they got the rupee (sorry if I spelt that wrong) count wrong. Why are green rupees 5 and red ones 1? The story makes no damn sense along with the items. How you get certain items is really stupid and is it me or are the enemies not even a challenge? Only the bosses are...sort of. I mean seriously everything in this game besides the bosses die in one hit. I think even GANON, who is supposed to be the hardest boss in the game, dies in one hit....WHAT BULLSHIT IS THAT?! I can go on and on about this game, but I gotta run. Thanks for all the pageviews guys and I hope you have an awesome day. Those are my thought Voice of a Gamer signing ouy.

Sonic Lost World Review RAGE
Okay, first things first, the title is misleading. I haven't played Sonic Lost World yet and I'm not talking bad about the game. What I am raging about is the critic reviews this game seems to be getting. According to gaming critics, Sonic Lost World has good mechanics and wonderful designs and everything. However, the second half of the game is frustrating, enemies keep slowing you down, and the walls get pretty annoying.... So let me get this straight. You're saying the game is bad because it's A SONIC GAME?! For the love of god how stupid can you get?! Of course the second half will probably get frustrating. GAMES GET HARDER OVER TIME!! That's happen in...I don't know...EVERY GAME IN EXISTENCE!!!! The whole thing about enemies slowing you down, that's happened in EVERY SONIC GAME!!!! Even the spawn of satan game that is Sonic '06. That's the purpose of the enemies and traps; TO TRY TO SLOW YOU DOWN!! And it is the job of the gamer to get the fastest time possible with these obstacles in your way. And of course what pisses me off the most is their complaints on the walls. I get it; the main purpose of sonic is to go as fast as you can to clear the stage. Um... do you people (the critics not you guys) not also remember that...oh I don't know...EVERY SONIC GAME IS CLASSIFIED AS A PLATFORMER!!!! Of course there are going to be walls that you have to climb over and stuff to progress. Hell, they added the parkour in an attempt to make that process faster. There are going to be platforming puzzles. THEY'VE BEEN IN EVERY SONIC GAME TO DATE!! I've also heard some people say that the parkour gets repetitive. HELLO?! A PLATFORMER!!! (In all honesty the reason this isn't a video is because I feel like I'll get kicked off youtube because I will be shouting every swear word in the book and I don't need angry parents on my ass). They even complained about the story, but in all honesty, I don't think a lot of gamers play sonic games for the story. It's been the same in every game: Eggman or some other villian is trying to take over the world with an army of some kind (mostly a robotic army) and it's up to Sonic to stop them. Ever since Sonic '06 came out, which we can all agree was a dark time for the world of video games, critics have given sonic nothing but grief. Here's some advice. STOP COMPARING FUTURE SONIC GAMES TO GAMES OF THE PAST LIKE ADVENTURE AND ADVENTURE 2. THESE ARE NOT THOSE GAMES!!! Every Sonic game is different, which is why I love the series (Hell Sonic is what got me into video games in the first place). So some of the games will not be as good as the games from the past, but that does not mean that you give it such a bad review. I can't wait to get my hands on Sonic Lost world for myself so I can give my own opinion on it. I will see for myself if the game is bad or not. I'm not writing this because I'm a Sonic fan that's angry that a sonic game got a bad review. I know when a game is pure shit. I admit there are some pretty bad sonic games, but the stuff they are complaining about makes no damn sense. Phew...I need to calm down. I think I've raged enough for today. Those are my thoughts guys; Voice of a Gamer signing out.

Pokemon X and Y.....So beautiful
As all of you know, Pokemon X and Y just came out yesterday. This pokemon game introduces new graphics for the series, new pokemon (of course), and a new pokemon type and I must say....this game is pure BEAUTY!!! The graphics look amazing!! I know a couple of people were nervous about the 3D graphics in a pokemon game, but Game Freak knew what they were doing and the game looks absolutely beautiful. Now I want to talk about our protagonist....you.... The fact you can now customize your character just amazes me every time. For years now we were stuck with the same sprite in every game now matter what. Everyone's was the same. Now we can create our own character and I must say I have a lot of fun with it. Now another I want to mention is a lot of throw backs in the game. You will come across certain situations that will remind you of the first generation pokemon games. And the rumors are true people, in this game you pick two starters!! After a while in your journey, you will meet up with the professor in the came and after some events, you are offered to pick one out of the FIRST GEN STARTERS!!! Veterans of the game are sure to love this. Now, I don't want to spoil every new feature in the game, especially one that happens after you beat the first gym, so you're going to have to find that out on your own ;). Now I want to get to the main starters of the game. I picked Feniken because it just looked so freakin awesome and I know that Froakie (srry if I'm misspelling the names guys DX) got a lot of grief because of how it looked when the game was announced, but I'm telling you the evolved forms make up for that in a big way. I also encourage everyone that before january, pick up your free torchick!! It holds a Megastone and you will eventually get Mega Blazeikin. (God I suck at spelling Pokemon names). Speaking of which, I have yet to see a Mega Evolution, so I can't say anything about that yet. I also have a warning for you guys. This game is LONG!! I mean longer than usual for a pokemon game. You see....I think I went by six towns before I reached the second gym. It took me FOREVER to get there. Right now I'm basically at the third gym which did take me a short amount of time but seriously I'm at the third gym and I'm almost a level 30 for some of my pokemon and 40 for others. Anyway wrapping things up, Pokemon X and Y is an amazing game. For Veterans, you'll love all of the throw back and how the game has evolved over the years. For newcomers, this is a great place to start you adventure and experience what those who played the first pokemon games experienced....speaking of which I still need to watch Pokemon origins... Anyway, those are my thoughts. Voice of a Gamer signing out.

SUPPORT THIS!!!
You will rarely see me do something like this, but I was so excited when I found out and I just have to spread the word. Now I know there are A LOT of Megaman fans out there. I am one of them and we know that we miss him with all of our hearts and are excited to see him in the new Smash Bros. Game. Capcom has done him no justice and basically killed the character. However, this will not stop Megaman's creator, Keiji Inafune. He has listened to his fans and realized that a lot of us gamers love the new advancements in gaming, but miss the classic feel of a lot of classic games we all grew up with. In Keiji Inafune's situation, that means one character in particular. So, he decided to bring back the classic Japanese side-scrolling action games. I mean come on, who doesn't miss those game. They were amazing back then and still are today. I mean come on I just recently bought Megaman X for my Wii U. I feel like Inafune decided to reincarnate the Megaman series and created Mighty No. 9. The game stars a young robot named Beck. He's part of the 9th line of powerful robots. So basically he's going to be our new Megaman. He's the only one who hasn't been infected by a strange computer virus that causes other robots to go berserk (Mavricks?). As Beck, you can run, jump shoot, and transform to get through six stages or more. Like Megaman, he can steal an enemy's abilities, but except for simply changing color and getting a new blaster, Beck changes shape and can kick some major ass. You have to take down your fellow number robots and confront the evil that threatens the planet. Sounds like a Megaman game right?! XD I honestly can't wait for this and I hope this game gets a lot of success. As soon as I can I'm going to support it. This is the chance gamers have to play a brand new game but have that classic feel that we know and love. This is a game I, as a gamer, crave for. I think you guys should support this game too. If you really want a new game with a classic feel or you really miss Megaman, give this a click and do what you can to make this a reality (the link is under the picture):

Mario & Luigi: Dream Team LUIGI IS THE HERO!!
Wow it's been awhile since I've posted something. Sorry guys I just started my first year of college so I've been a little busy lately. The Kingdom Hearts Post is coming along with the first vlog of Thoughts on Gaming. Now 2013 is starting to wind down as well as the year of Luigi. In honor of this time, I thought it was a good time to talk about the latest Mario and Luigi game. Now these games are not knew, however this particular Mario and Luigi game is different from all the others. In this game, YOU CANNOT SURVIVE WITHOUT LUIGI!! I am serious. In all of the other Mario and Luigi games I felt that if I played as just Mario, I could still get by in this game. In this game however, you definitely need Luigi and its not just because these enemies are hard. While I was playing the game, Mario died more then Luigi did. Luigi also had better moves and stats in my opinion and that's only in the real word. In the dream world, you only play as Mario since Luigi is asleep. However, Dream Luigi is there to help you. The enemies in the dream world are more powerful then they are in the real world. Dream Luigi is a part of you and gives you a great stat boost. When your attack finishes. Dream Luigi is there to cause some extra damage in order to make these fights easier. There's also the Luiginary moves you can do in battle which are pretty awesome. There's also the moves you can do to help solve puzzles in the game. So all in all, I can say that Luigi is the true hero in this game. However, that's not the only great thing about it. In the game you will encounter a level called "Dreams Deep". Basically Luigi is going into a deep sleep. There are no enemies in this level. Dream Luigi is gone. What's so special about it? In the background there are images of Luigi floating around along with some words. Those words go along the line of "Big Bro is so cool!" "You go Big Bro!" "Big Bro!"....."Don't leave me Big Bro!" "Take me with you!" I have a good feeling those are Luigi's inner feelings and they moved my heart. After all of the years of being out of the spotlight, this level gave me the idea that Luigi is very proud of his older brother Mario, but he also feels very alone. Mario has left Luigi so many times that I honestly don't blame him. I feel really bad for Luigi. I swear we need to give him more games. Have him save Daisy for once....let's just not make Daisy as useless as Princess Peach. Luigi definitely needs more attention then we give him. I'm always up for supporting the little brother of the Mario Bros. World. All in all this game is really amazing and gives a lot of the spotlight to Luigi. This game was a great way to end off the year of Luigi, but I would really like Luigi to have his own Paper Mario game. He was on his own adventure during the thousand year door. Anyway, Happy Year of Luigi Everyone! Those are my thought. Voice of a Gamer signing out!

Final Fantasy XV : The Game Changer
First under the name of Final Fantasy Versus XIII, Final Fantasy XV has made an appearence at E3 and was announced to currently be in development. It's not much, but considering how long we've been in the dark about this game, it's better than nothing. Now before I get into the details of the game, I want to talk about some comments other gamers have been making about it. They say that it doesn't feel like a Final Fantasy game. This is most likely because there is no turn base system in the game. In my eyes, that means that it's not like pokemon. I mean seriously I hated waiting for that timer to get full so I can attack. I know people want to keep final fantasy traditions, but the time based battles is something I can live without. Okay, on to the game. The plot and cast of Final Fantasy XV was just recently realised. The story is this: The only crystal left to the world lies i the Kingdom of Lucis. Upon striking a peace with the garrison state of Niflheim (is that a Final Fantasy VII refernce I smell? XD), Lucis rejoices in having at last brought the cold war to a close. Their celebrations, however, are premature. Under the guise od amity, Niflheim dispels the anti-armament runewall and launches a full-scale invasion of the kingdom. The peaceful lives Crown Prince Noctis and his entourage once knew are consumed by the flames of war as they struggle to mount a resistance. (from the offical Square Enix site). Hm, story sounds like a Final Fantasy game to me. There's always some mystical power involved. The only thing is that except for just a bunch of random people getting involved, we have a Prince and his crew. Sounds interesting to me. Speaking of the Prince, let's get to the cast. Our characters are as follows:
Noctis Lucis Caelum (main character; male)
Gladiolis Amicitia (male)
Ignis Scientia (male)
Prompto Argentum(male)
Cor Leonis (male)
You can find their bios on the offical site. Anyway, did you guys notice something? That's right. The whole entire cast is made up of guys. This is something else I want to comment on being a girl. Some people are saying that the game is not worth buying simply because there is no girl character. Being a girl myself, I don't care... AT ALL that's there's no girl character. I mean yeah, it would be nice to have one, but it's not that big of a deal. In the past, Square Enix has female characters in most of their games. Just because there are none in this game doesn't make it anyless of a final fantasy game. We'll know more once there's more details. What makes a final fantasy game is the story. Some also complained that there might not be any moogles in this game. Now, I love our little kupo friend like everyone else, but it wasn't announced that there weren't going to be any moogles. I mean seriously, there was no moogles or chocobos in the first Final Fantasy XIII game and no one had a problem with that. Hell, the Final Fantasy XIII games didn't even have the usual battle victory song, and that's a tradition I really love. We just have to admit that Final Fantasy is changing with the generation. I mean honestly, when the game was still Versus XIII they announced that it was going to have a Kingdom Hearts fighting style and everyone was estatic for it. Now that it's something else everyone is going to complain about the battle system being different? *sigh* The world we live in. Let's look at it differently for those hard core Final Fantasy fans. This game could be what we need for a different game to be made and you all know what I'm talking about. Now matter what you say, the game looks AWESOME!! It's going to make a lot of money. Remember what Square Enix said about the Final Fantasy VII remake (which I still think we don't need at the moment). That's all I have to say. I am one of the many people who can't wait for this game to come out. It's going to be amazing and one of the main reasons I'm buying PS4. Those are my thoughts. Voice of a Gamer signing out.

Sly Cooper 5: What should hapen?
Okay, I know I said I was going to do a post on Final Fantasy XV and Kingdom Hearts III, but I wanted to take a break from any E3 related topics. Thanks to the inspiration of PrinceBoo21 (check out his Let's Plays XD), I thought I'd talk about the eventually to come Sly Cooper 5. There are a lot of things I want to happen in this game. So let's start of with the title. Thanks to the secret ending of Thieves in Time, Lost in Time seems like an approiate title for the game since Sly is technically lost in time. Speaking of Sly, the game should mostly star Sly and his ancestors. Bently can communicate with him through some device he made and be trying to get Sly back in his approiate time line but encounter some difficulties. They can do that or have Bently, Murray, and Carmelita go after him in the time machine (which is most likely to happen in my eyes. I mean come on we can't get rid of the van). Now let's get to the ancestors (spoiler ahead). Now we all know that the first ancestor we will encounter in Sly 5 is Slytunkhamen Cooper or Slytunkhamen Cooper II thanks to the secret ending. Now what about the others? Well I think we should defientaly have Henriette "One Eye" Cooper (I'm not saying that because I'm a girl.) If you remember in Thieves in Time, Sly saw Sinbad's Legendary Goblet filled with treasure coins that she was going to steal in 1616. I think it would be awesome if Sly joined her on that heist. That and seeing pirate Sly again would be awesome! The next ancestor I wanna see is Otto Van Cooper. We could have air fights just like in Sly 3 and probably some other cool tech since Otto was a great mechanic. Now for the next ancestor is a hard decision. I want to meet all of the ancestors of the Cooper Clan, but it's between Slaigh MacCooper, Thaddeus Winslow Cooper III, and Sly's Father. I know technically Slyn's Father isn't really an "ancestor" but think about it. We've been teased about Sly's father for the entire series. We don't know what he looks like; we really don't know what type of person he was; and we don't even know his name. Sly's father is shrouded in mystery and I would love to see Sanzaru games show us the truth about him. However, I really want to meet all of the ancestors. The Cooper Clan as a whole is amazing. To meet the entire family would be an honor for all fans the franchise and that includes meeting Sly's dad. If Sanzaru Games is able to have us meet all of the ancestors , I will be one happy gamer. Okay, that's enough of the ancestors. Let's get to the main villian. Here's where PrinceBoo 21 comes in. He mentioned in his Let's Play of Sly 2 that in Thieves in Time, he saw Clockwerk stalking Sly. That made me think. Sure, Sly defeated Clockwerk in the present... future... whatever, but what about in the past. Sly is traveling through time and Clockwerk was a threat to basically ALL of his ancestors. What if Sly had to make a choice? Save his family in the present so he never lost his parents or.... keep things the way they are so he can remain friends with Bently and Murray? Think about it. It's becaus of Clockwerk that Sly met Bently and Murray and had all of these adventures with them. If he was to defeat Clockwerk in the past, he would undo all of that. His parents would be saved, but he will lose his best friends. What is a master theif to do? So the main villian should be Clockwerk, but how Sly will defet Clockwerk is the question. Now these are just my ideas. I have faith in Sanzaru Games and believe that whatever they come up with in Sly Cooper 5 will be AWESOME!! However all we can do right now is speculate and try to predict what will happen next in the Sly Cooper series. Those are my thoughts. Voice of a Gamer signing out.

E3 Part 3
Ok now, here's the final part of my E3 post. I'm going to talk about Microsoft and boy do I have a lot to say about Microsoft. To make a long story short, E3 was Microsoft's funeral. The Xbox One was the killer. I mean seriously. The Xbox One was the worst idea Microsoft has ever had and we thought Windows Vista was bad. Now I don't blame the companies that make the games at all. I just feel really bad for the ones that made games exclusively for the Xbox One because I know for a FACT that NO ONE is really going to buy that ridiculous piece of hardware. So basically in this post I'm not going to be talking about the games. I'll leave a website that has the list of games to make up for it. Okay, that's enough ranting about the Xbox One. For those who don't know, I should tell you what exactly is wrong with the Microsoft killer, the Xbox One. Now this is just a rumor I heard, but I heard that for the Xbox One you to pay to play the game. I don't mean buying the game so you play it; I mean every time you want to play the game, you have to pay Microsoft. That is the stupidest thing I've ever heard of. MMOs don't do that. Most of them are just to pay for your membership so you can enjoy the game to the fullest. Microsoft needs to stay out of my pocket. Okay the other rumor I heard was that if there are too many people in a room, the system will turn off. ...So no video game parties at my place. I mean seriously, that's just retarded. I could be holding a competition at my place and the Xbox One turns off when there's a lot of people? MICROSOFT!!! Okay enough rumors, time for facts. Fact #1 No backwards Compatibility (nothing new). Fact #2 Indie Developers aren't allowed to self publish. Fact #3 Pay MORE money for used games. Fact # 4 It won't work without the Kinect (....) Fact #5 NEED TO BE ONLINE TO PLAY OFFLINE (WHAT KIND OF STUPID SHIT IS THAT??!!!!) Fact # 6 No more game trading/ sharing (=__= Not amused) Fact # 7 It's mostly an entertainment system (ummm.... I'm pretty sure the Xbox is suppose to be a VIDEO GAME CONSOLE) Fact # 7 To sell a game to another user you must be friends with them for at least a month ( my game why can't I do what I want!) Fact # 8 Once you buy the game, you can't sell it to anyone else (AGAIN, MY GAME! WHY CAN'T I DO WHAT I WANT WITH IT) Fact # 9 Kinect can monitor your heart rate and do face and voice recognition (okay, face and voice not bad but heart beat?! WTF!) Fact # 10 You basically can't do anything without the internet (What happens if the internet goes down idiots!) Fact # 11 Terms & Conditions sign away your privacy. And finally Fact # 12 IT'S $499 WHILE THE PS4 IS $399!!! WHAT....THE....HELL?!! Now I just recently heard that they changed things, but the fact that this crossed their minds is crazy!! Microsoft is slowly losing their minds!! I think all of this happened because they thought that they were the kings of the video game world, but their not. It's actually always going to be Nintendo. They base their ideas off of Nintendo. All gamers right now need to give themselves a high five or something because we had Microsoft see the light. Now, they better not do stupid shit like this again. The fact that this still crossed their minds is going to effect the Xbox One sales DRAMATICALLY!! *sigh* okay, that's enough ranting. Let's get back to E3. The winner of that battle was definitely Sony. It took Sony and Gamers for Microsoft to see their stupidity. If that's not sad, I don't know what is. Okay, I'm done. Next post is going to be about Kingdom Hearts III and Final Fantasy XV. BTW, I have decided to do the vlogs, but I need to fine a program I'm comfortable with and a microphone. Anyway, this ends my thoughts on E3 2013. Voice of Gamer signing out.

E3 Part 2
Okay, in the last post I talked about Nintendo and some of the wonderful games that's coming out in the future for the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS. Now it's time to get down to business. The E3 Battle is a traditonal battle that happens every year at E3 between the three major gaming companies we know and love. However, Nintendo did not take place in this battle this year due to them not having a press conference. Only Sony and Microsoft held a press conference. This was defientally a one-on-one battle. I will say who I thought was the winner in the final E3 post. But right now, let's see how Sony did this year at E3.
Sony started things out by revealing the PS4. We already knew some information about the new system, but didn't know what the console itself looked like. Now we know. It looks basically like an upgraded version of PS3 like I expected. It looks nice, sleek, and LIKE A GAME CONSOLE! Thank you Sony :3. They briefly talked about the how the PS4 will work with music, movies, and etc. After that, they spoke about games still coming out or have come out for the PS3 (Fx. The Last of US) Then they went straight to the games coming out for the PS4. I am really excited for A LOT of the games coming out for the new system; two in particular. However, those two games is going to be a totally different post on their own. These games are Kingdom Hearts III and Final Fantasy XV. I have a lot to say about them. Look forward to that post. Anyway, Sony introduced games like Watch Dogs, which looks pretty amazing. You hack into the world around you. You may have a gun, but your greatest weapon is your cell phone. Another game was Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag. They did go through techinical difficulties with the demo, but these are things I don't really blame them for. Things like that happen. However, dispite the difficulties, the game looks amazing. They also revealed gameplay of the highly anticipated game, Destiny. It looks absolutely beautiful. The art design, the weapons; they're all just pure beauty, I can already tell this is going to be an amazing shooter. Another amazing shooter is going to be COD: Ghost. It's Call of Duty, what else is new? Batman Arkham Origins looks like it's going to be an adventure. We get to see how the asylum became to be. Also. Batman a wanted man by villians? BRING IT DEATHSTROKE! This is going to be an amazing game to look forward to due to the fact that Injustice (awesome game btw) just recently came out and has been so successful among other things. The Dark Knight is ready to rise yet again and show the villians of Gotham who's boss. Sony also revealed some indie games that are coming out onto their system. These indie games look amazing such as Don't Starve,Secret Ponchos, and Outlast. It proves what some young game designers are really capable of. By the way, do you guys remember the people who created Bastion? They are also coming out with a new game. It's called Transistor. The main character named Red fights to protect the weapon she carries that apparently people are willing to kill over. The trailer looked amazing and beautiful. I can't wait for more info to be released about this game. Infamous: Second Son is another game I want to talk about. Obviously, it's a squeal to the first Infamous games. Except instead of lightening, it's fire and we play as a young troublemaking kid with a cop older brother. This kid seems to like his new powers and intend to use them to his full potential. Can't wait for more info to be released.
Now I'm not covering all of the games, but if you want more info on the PS4 games coming out, check out this site: http://www.ign.com/wikis/playstation-4/PlayStation_4_Games (Copy and Paste again DX )
Now let's talk about the thing Sony did that made everyone cheer like no tomorrow. I mean seriously, I've never heard so many gamers so happy in my life. Sony announced that fore the PS4, the following will happen: 1) PS4 supports used games 2)Disc Based Games (In other words the gamer can do whatever they want with the game) 3) don't have to be connected online to play games 4) It will cost $399 Why is all of this important? You'll see when I talk about Microsoft at E3 and trust me, what I have to say about Microsoft is not going to be pretty. Let's wrap things up. Sony did an amazing job presenting their new console and what they are going to do with it. I'm proud to say that I plan to eventually get a PS4. Sony made me proud to own their gaming system. Well, those are my thoughts. Voice of a Gamer signing out.
E3 Part 1
It came and then it went. The long awaited E3 started June 10 and it has now recently ended. Boy oh boy do I have a lot to say about this year. I have a lot of good things to say and a lot of bad things. So, this topic will be in 3 parts. One part for each company. This part is going to be about Nintendo.
As we all know, Nintendo did not have a press conference this year. That kind of sucked since a lot of fans were looking forward to it, but I can see why they did it. They knew that E3 for Sony and Microsoft was going to be about their next generation counsel. Nintendo already released theirs so there was no point in having a conference. I do like the fact that they had a live stream set up so that everyone could tune into Nintendo Direct @ E3 so we could all see the games that were coming out. However, the live stream did skip a lot, but I won't really blame Nintendo for that since they did post the video online after the live stream so that people who missed it were still able to watch it. Now let's get to the games.
Nintendo has some pretty cool games coming out for both the Nintendo 3DS and the Wii U. I'm not going to go over the games in order so bear with me. I first want to talk about Pokemon X & Y since that was in a previous post. We already knew what the new region was going to look like, the ability to use one of the pokemon to roam around town, and the ability to customize your character among other things. What Nintendo revealed this time is basically what type the new eevee evolution was. It was revealed to be a new type called Fairy Type which is super effective against Dragon Types (Finally! Dragon Types are hard to defeat!). Pokemon-Amie was also revealed. It's a new feature that allows us to get closer to our Pokemon. We can pet them, feed them, and make faces at them. It's almost like the pokemon are real which basically increases the experience you get while playing the game. Okay, next game: Super Mario 3D World. ...OH MY GOD PEACH BECOMES USEFUL! We actually get to play as Peach. Anyway, each character in this game has their own unique ability. Mario's powers are still the same, but Luigi is more agile than Mario, Peach can hover in the air just like in braawl, and Toad can run faster... that's not a surprise. Mario also has a new power known as the Cat suit or power... whatever Mario becomes a cat. He gains the ability to scale walls and attack enemies with his claws. This makes it easier to get to the top of the flag pole at the end of the level so you can get the one up if you really need it. It never hurts to give Mario new powers. Next: Pikmin 3. Now this game sounds like it's going to be good. Instead of Olimar, we are introduced to three new characters. (Sadly, I don't remember their names) These explorers come from a planet in desperate need of food. Like always, the Pikmin Planet (which I'm convinced is Earth after the apocolyps) is not the set destination. They ended up crash landing there. They meet the Pikmin and search the planet for seeds so they can grow food on their planet. Now, we have two new types of Pikmin: Rock Pikmin and Winged Pikmin. You heard me right; Winged Pikmin. Our Pikmin can now fly! Something tells me this will prove to be a blessing and a curse. The Rock Pikmin I see as being new versions of the Purple Pikmin. Anyway, Nintendo revealed that the game will have new gameplay. First off, you have a map on the GamePad. Second, you can split up your pikmin into teams. You can switch teams to gain more food and cover more ground then ever before. Again, I think this will prove to be both a blessing and a curse. Pikmin fans will most likely love this game and gamers who haven't played pikmin will easily get into the franchise. Yet another game to look forward too. Next is Bayonetta 2. What can I say? It's Devil May Cry, but with a female main charcater. I find it funny how the first Bayonetta was exculsive for Xbox 360 and that the sequel is exculsive for Wii U. But that's a rant for a different time. Now I never played Bayonetta before since I don't own an Xbox 360, but I did some research on it and I have to say that I might just get it. It sounds like fun. Okay, I can't hold it in any longer. I have to talk about Super Smash Brothers for Wii U and 3DS. DOODS, IT LOOKS AMAZING!!! Nintendo continues to surprise me with this amazing series. Of course we have all of our characters in it, but this is the first time the game was made for handheld. Of course, the graphics have dimmed down, but that's to be expected. As we all know, Brawl broke the tradition of all of the characters being strictly from Nintendo with the appearence of Sonic. Now we have two more characters. One from Nintendo and one we haven't seen in quite awhile. The one from Nintendo is the villager from Animal Crossing (...still don't understand the love of that game...). I see this character as a comic relief charcater since the attacks shown in the trailer are pretty funny. Now for the character we haven't seen in awhile... it's MegaMan. That's right, our favorite Mavrick Hunter is back. I was so excited to see MegaMan again along with his new upgrades. It's been too long since the last MegaMan game. It feels good to see our blue warrior in action again. The game hasn't come out yet and I already have a favorite character. THANK YOU NINTENDO!! XD
Now, I would love to cover on the other games like Mario Kart 8 (ZERO GRAVITY YES!), Sonic Lost World (NEW POWERS!), and Yoshi's New Island, but I only have time for one more game before I go on to the next E3 Post. That game is The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds. Please, you thought I was going to mention Nintendo at E3 and not talk about LOZ? Yeah right! Now, I would talk about the remake of Wind Waker, but there's not much to talk about besides the new feature known as the tingle bottle (yeah... there's no way of making that sound better) which allows you to use Miiverse for the game. Now, A Link Between Worlds is the continued story of Link to the Past... Link. I think this is a wonderful idea since we are continuing the story of one of the reincarnations of our favorite hero in green. I mean it's been a couple of years since Link to the Past. It feels nice going back once in awhile. Link has the ability to now become a drawing on the wall making it possible to switch from 2D to 3D (Blessing and a Curse). Now this is just a theory, but I think with the title screen having a shadow of the triforce in it, I think Dark Link is going to be the bad guy here. According to the trailer old items and bosses will return... I think. Anyway, this game looks amazing and I'm looking forward to getting it for 3DS.
Phew, that was a lot and to only think that we've only just begone. So let's wrap things up with Nintendo. There was no presss conference which was a little upsetting, but Nintendo made it up with the live stream and showing us some amazing games to look forward to. Nintendo's future is defientaly bright. I can't wait for these games to come out and for me to try them out for myself. Here's the site for more information on the games Nintendo presented on their live stream. I think they have the video up there too: e3.nintendo.com (gotta copy and paste it. Srry Blogger being a jerk) Next up is Sony. Well, those are my thoughts. Voice of a Gamer signing out.

Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon
Ok, I know this game came out last month on the 24th, but I just finished beating the game with my friend. I don't own the game, but since my friend does I just played along with her. I feel like I'm ready to finally talk about it. This game... is amazing. It's the perfect sequel to the first Luigi's mansion. It's easier in terms of finding items (no weird furniture humping... LOL), the boos don't try to escape into different rooms when you try to catch them (however, you do need to use the dark light [a new function of the flashlight] to find them within the room), and the controls are easier and really comfortable. Each ghost has different abilities, the red ghost will try to beat you to a pulp, the pink ghost will scare you and disappear a lot, and the green ghost will use items to block your flashlight so you can't stun them. These are some of the elements that gives the game a challenge. There are going to be moments when you actually jump while playing the game, so don't be ashamed. Now, as awesome as this game is THE GAME IS A TROLL. I'll give you a good example. Me and my friend are playing the clock towers boss. When we finish, our stats were TERRIBLE. Like, really, really, bad. Guess what ranking we got. That's right.... a gold rank. NOW, SOMEONE TELL ME HOW THAT IS POSSIBLE?! I 'm still trying to figure it out. There's also the loveable, but really annoying, polterpup. This cute ghost dog will steal your key to move on in the story A LOT! You have to constantly use the dark light to follow his paw prints so you can find him and get the key back. However, even when you find him, the dog runs away and you have to start the search over again. There's also the fact that at the end of the mission, polterpup escapes your poltergust and you'll have to face him again in the next mansion. There's also the toads. OMG they are scared of the stupidest thing. Example: Ice level mansion; mission: rescue toad; what is toad afraid of: ICE... =_= WTF! Okay, enough about me ranting about the game being a major troll. I love how for this game we actually go to different mansion and are not stuck in one mansion. It gives the feel of an actual adventure game. The non-y ghost enemies were very helpful throughout the game by giving you health and money, which are VERY important in the game. Money gives you upgrades and health keeps you alive. The puzzles are easy, but also pose as a challenge and give entertainment. The boss fights can be very entertaining as well as hard as hell. This game is basically for those who loved the first Luigi's Mansion and/or want to give Luigi the hero credit he deserves. I feel like Nintendo gave a great start to the Year of Luigi. I can't wait to see what Mario's younger brother does next. Maybe we'll finally know what he did during Paper Mario: Thousand Year Door (I'm really hoping so. That was a major tease). I hope you all have a great Year of Luigi.
By the way, if your curious on what me and my friend's stats were for the clock towers boss, here they are:
Time: 12:20
Ghost: 35
Health Loss: 224
Treasure: 410
Rank: GOLD
....Still confused. Voice of a Gamer signing out.

KINGDOM HEARTS DREAM DROP DISTANCE SECRET ENDING RANT
Ok, by now everyone should know about the secret ending to KH: Dream Drop Distance. So, I think it is an approiate time to rant about it. Don't get me wrong, I love every hint the ending gives to us about Kingdom Hearts III. My problem is: WHY THE HECK IS KAIRI THERE?!!!!!! I mean seriously?! Kairi is all of a sudden important?! She hasn't been important since the first game! Why is she all of a sudden a very important character according to the secret ending?! Kairi is the most useless character in the game! Sure, she can weild a keyblade, but she CAN'T FIGHT FOR CRAP!! We've seen her fight in KH II. She swings it around like a toy. She served her purpose as a damsel in distress. In all honesty, I forgot Kairi even existed after the first game. Every time she popped up in the other games is the only time I remembered her. I know I'm Kairi bashing, but you have to admit it is true. Kairi is the princess peach of Kingdom Hearts and we ALL know how "useful" princess peach was. Square Enix is going to have to try REALLY HARD to make me think Kairi is going to be useful in KH III. *sigh* I guess we'll see what happens when Kingdom Hearts III comes out in 2014 (my estimated year. The probability of this being true in my opinion is 95% since KH 1.5 in coming out Fall of this year). Tell me what you guys think of Kairi. Do you think she will be useless like always OR finally become useful in the series? For I am only one fan. I can't really speak for all fans. I'm still thinking about doing those vlogs btw. Those are my thoughts. Voice of a Gamer signing out.
The only reason I put this here is because it's so cute :3 |

SQUARE ENIX
With so much going on with the company, I decided to kind of rant about SQUARE ENIX. Square has made some pretty awesome games. Their most popular games being the Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy series (which I love very much). However, they have come out with some pretty awesome games during the years. Examples of said games are Tomb Raider (2013), Quantum Conundrum, Hitman Absolution, Dragon Quest VII and TWEWY (The World Ends With You). These games have seen a lot of success and I believe the company is doing very well in the gaming world. However, SQUARE ENIX makes amazing games, but they are a BIG FAT TEASE!! They are a tease because of their most popular games. Fans of Kingdom Hearts have been waiting for KH III since 2005. From 2005 to now, there have been a lot of filler games. They are important to the story line, but some fans are getting sick and tired of waiting. I'm happy now that Kingdom Hearts has lived for as long as it did and that now Kingdom Hearts III is within our grasp, but still, when the KH III release date is announced, I'm gonna scream FINALLY on the top of my lungs. I mean I had a good feeling that it was going to come out this year.... than they said 1.5 was coming out of fall of this year. Just when you think we get what we want, SQUARE ENIX throws another tease at us. There's also the tease with Final Fantasy. For some reason, I don't know why, FF VII fans have been BEGGING for a re-make of Final Fantasy VII. They said they're not going to make a remake until THERE'S A FINAL FANTASY GAME BETTER THAN VII.... yeah, it's going to be awhile before we get that remake. VII was the MOST POPULAR Final Fantasy game on the market. I see it as it's own series in itself. There are a total of 3 games + one that SHOULD BE IN THE MAKING! and a movie. There will most likely NEVER be a Final Fantasy game that's better than VII unless all the VII fans got together and decided to trick Square into thinking there is a game so they can make a remake, even though I personally feel that instead of a remake, they should be focused on the game that comes after Dierge of Cerberus. I mean Genesis did come back to life. Cloud needs to go kick his ass. Basically, SQUARE ENIX has created some amazing games, but their the ultimate tease when it comes to their most popular games. I think I've ranted enough. What do you guys think of SQUARE ENIX? Tell me. Voice of a Gamer signing out.

AC IV, KH 1.5, and Rhythm Theif
Ok, so much is going on in the world of gaming that I'm pushing three topics in one post so bear with me. Let's start with the upcoming Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag. I was really shocked when I saw the announcement. I never expected for the next game to come out so soon. The game comes out October 29th of this year. That makes it almost (short of a day) a year since AC III came out. The only logical reason I can see why this game is coming out so soon is that they were already working on it while working on or finishing AC III. Now, I think the game is going to be awesome!! I mean, come on, Pirate Assassin Two very badass things put into one. What more could I ask for. The fact that Black Beard, the most gruesome pirate that ever lived throughout history, is talking about how bad the new assassin is, I'm pretty excited to see what this assassin can do. Since the game takes place in the Carribean, there is most likely going to be ALOT of naval battles. The naval battles were awesome in AC III. I wanna see what they do with it in this game. The new assassin, Edward Keenway, looks like a badass. I really like his design. It fits the title of Pirate Assassin. I'll let you guys know more on what I think as soon as I get more info.
MOVING ON! Next is the announcement of Kingdom Hearts 1.5 coming out in North America in Fall 2013. Ok first things first, SQUARE ENIX YOU TEASE!!! This is most likely a sign that the long awaited Kingdom Hearts III is not coming out until 2014. I'm pretty excited for it. I mean I get the chance to play the first three games that came out in the series (as I said in a much earlier post, I got into the KH series when 358/2 Days came out). Also AMERICA FINALLY GETS ONE OF THE FINAL MIX GAMES!!!! I mean seriously, we've heard about all of the final mixes and never got a single one of them and the first one (i think) was in ENGLISH!!! So not fair T_T. But, we do get to play Kingdom Hearts Final Mix without importing it.I'm kind of upset that we can't play Days on it, but it makes sense since it was a DS game. I'm cool with just watching the cutscences though. The game is a great way to celebrate 10 years of Kingdom Hearts, but I still would've liked to hear a Kingdom Hearts III announcement instead.
NEXT TOPIC!! Final topic of this post is for Rhythm Thief Now, I know this game came out years ago, but I watched the walkthrough for it a few days ago and found it very interesting. It's not exactly like you average rhythm game. I had a Professor Layton feel to it as well. I feel like it's a step up for all rhythm games. Because in all honesty, I only play rhythm games for the music. They usually don't have a really good story line. Rhythm Thief however does and I like it. I can't wait for the sequel. I think other rhythm game makers will follow their example.
Phew, that took awhile. I had more to say about KH and AC than Rhythm Thief. Oh well, those are my thoughts guys. Oh, before I go I might, MIGHT, start making vlogs for this stuff. idk yet. I'll let you guys know. Voice of a Gamer signing out.

Playstation 4: Already?
Soooo, lately everyone's been talking about the recently announced Playstation 4. Now, I'm excitied for it like a lot of other Sony fans (mostly for Kingdom Hearts Reasons). The only thing is that I feel like it came out fast. I mean the Wii U just came out in December. I would think that Sony and Xbox would be awhile before their new systems come out. I mean there were rumors flying around, but that's all they were, rumors. This was really unexpected. With the current details about the Playstation 4, it looks pretty cool. However... $400 something dollars.... Sony you still are expensive as hell. This is really no surprise, but still, I'm most likely not going to get it until the price goes down. However, being the devoted Kingdom Hearts fan that I am, if Kingdom Hearts III is coming out for Playstation 4 (even though I highly doubt it) I'm getting before that game comes out no matter the price. Anyway, there is little knowlede about the Playstation 4 besides the facts that:
1) Playstation 4 owners will be able to use their smartphone or tablets as a second screen with the PLaystation App (*cough cough* Xbox Smartscreeen *cough cough*)
2) Gaikai, a cloud-based gaming service that hosts downloadable content and games. By incorporating a share button on the new controller and making it possible to view in-game content being streamed live from friends.
3) Console tech will be similiar to computer tech
4) Dualshock 4 will have a touch pad
5) Playstation Eye is redesigned with 1280×800px cameras
I might be missing out on some information, but this is all that I know so far. I'll keep you guys updated as much as I can. Those are my thoughts. Voice of a Gamer signing out.

The Future of Pokemon
As everyone knows, there will be a new Pokémon game coming out in October. This is the biggest Pokémon news to be announced since Black and White 2. I think it's going to be a pretty good game. I mean, seriously, it's a new pokemon game. Who doesn't want it? I think it's going to be pretty cool with all the new graphics and everything else. The fact that we can actually see the pokemon perform their moves instead of them just standing there. The new starter pokemon look awesome, except for the water type. It looks really weird. Everything else looks fine. I like the design of the new characters. Maybe we can customize our characters. Maybe we will have roller blades instead of running shoes. Who knows? The lastest news on this game is the new eevee evolution. Eevee is one of my favorite pokemon from the game. The question is, which type is this new evolution? The new legendries look pretty cool and everything. I can't wait to enter a new region of the Pokémon world. This will truly be a revolutionary game for the series. Of course, I personally feel that the company ran out colors for the name of the game so they moved onto letters. And I already know that there is going to be a Pokémon Z. Anyway, this game shows a lot of promise. I can't wait for more information to be realized on the game. Tell me your expectations. Those are my thoughts. Voice of a Gamer signing out.

Thieves in Time...FINALLY!
HELLO SLY COOPER FANS! Man, it's been a long time since Sly Cooper 3: Honor Among Thieves. Since Sucker Punch decided to not make anymore Sly Cooper games and focus on Infamous and the Sly Series ending in a cliffhanger (jerks...), Sanzaru games took over the Sly Cooper series. (HURRAY!!) Now, there is always worry about a game going to a new company. However, the results are the same as Dmc: Devil May Cry. It may now belong to a different company, but it's still a pretty awesome game. Okay, first thing first: Graphics. Love them. I love how Sanzaru games actually made Sly age a bit since he's been gone for such a long time. For his supposed age, he looks good! Murray looks pretty good as well. Still the hippo we know and love. Bentley, to me, looks about the same. Carmelita looks... different. I don't like her new look that much, but other might beg to differ. Idk, this is just my opinion. Next, the voices. THANK GOD THEY STUCK TO SLY COPPER TRADITION. I love the fact that they kept the old voice actors for Sly, Murray and Bentley. I am in love with their voices and of course we had to keep Bentley's voice the same. They also kept the tradition of changing Carmalita's voice actor. Her voice doesn't sound that bad in this one. I kind of like it. Ok, next on our list is the gameplay and story line. ...WE FREAKING FINALLY PLAY AS SLY'S ANCESTORS. We've heard so much about his ancestors that it's about time we played as his ancestors. Maybe... just maybe... we can meet Sly's father and get to figure out what he finally looks like. The game also keeps its humor. I lost count on how many times I laughed at something Bentley, Murray, or Sly said. I also love the unique character of the ancestors. Some of them you'll love; some of them you'll hate; some of them you'll love to hate. And of course, it wouldn't be a Sly game if they didn't sort of break the fourth wall. The gameplay feels like a Sly Cooper game. It's the same controls that we all grew up with, but with a few new ones. I also love how the ancestors have their own unique abilities; something that makes them different from all the rest, like their different canes. I also like the costume system. The costumes that Sly recieves are very handy in combat. They are unique to each time period and a lot of them help deal with the guards much easier than when we were not in a costume. For instance, the samurai costume helps protect you against fire. It also allows you to deflect it which is very important during the Feudal Japan level. The only downside to the costumes is that Sly moves a lot slower in the costumes. Overall, I recommend this game to people who grew up with the Sly Cooper series and people who are new to series. The game is absolutely amazing. It might of been awhile, but it was worth the wait. Great job Sanzaru Games, and to all you Sly Cooper fans, good luck stealing all of those amazing treasures. Kudos to the people who designed them. Those are my thoughts. Voice of a Gamer signing out.

Brand New Devil May Cry; Brand New Dante
Happy January 15, 2013everyone! (even though it's the 16th) Why is it happy? BECAUSE THE NEW DEVIL MAY CRY CAME OUT!! Ok, a lot of people are upset about Dante's new look and stuff. My response: Dante doesn't look that bad. He looks kinda cool. They did change the story, but it just makes Dante a lot cooler. Instead of being Half human Half demon, he is now half demon half angel.... more powers for Dante to use so he can kick some ass. I mean a lot of people would be mad that it's no longer the Dante they're used to, but I think when they see what the new Dante can do, they'll grow to like it. The controls of the game are pretty simple for a meele game. The graphics are beautiful. However, it is pretty easy to get lost in Limbo. The demons are ugly, like always. Vergil is in this one. They changed his look too, but again, to me the new looks don't look that bad.... they just need to make Dante look less like a crack head. Anyway, this time Dante is part of some revolution. He teams up with Vergil in order to fight the demons. His angel powers are fast paced, but does less damage. His demon powers do A LOT of damage, but it's very slow. This pattern in not surprising. You just need to think of a good strategy that fits your gaming style. And of course Dante has his duel guns and sword. Dante is never Dante without his guns and sword. Basically, the game is pretty awesome. Devil May Cry fans may need to get used to the changes, but Dante is still the Dante we know and love. DMC FOREVER!!!! Those are my thoughts. 2013 Expectations
HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE! We finally said goodbye to 2012 and entered the world of 2013. As most people already know, there are a couple of good games coming out this year. I have a couple that I am really looking forward too. However, I'm only gonna talk about three of them since there are so many. One of the is... SLY COOPER: THIEVES IN TIME
I really can't wait for this game. I've been hearing about this game for a few years. The wait is very painful. It comes out in Feburary, but I still have to wait a whole month for the next chapter of Sly Cooper. As most gamers already know, this Sly game has been made by a different company, Sanzaru Games. Now there has been trouble in the past that amazing games like Jak and Daxter going to a different company and being really bad. I truly believe that this is not going to happen with Sly Cooper. I've seen the demos, previews, and trailers. The game looks really good. A lot of people who have played a demo of the game says that it feels like a Sly Cooper game. I also can't wait to play as Sly's ancestors. We've heard about them throughout the series. Now we can actually see what they can do. Can't wait to play as the Cooper Gang once again. Now is the other game I am really looking forward to is.... RAYMAN LEGENDS
This game is for the sort of still brand new console the Wii U. I am fairly new to rayman, but I do like the game. I played the demo and it was pretty awesome. I love the new machanics of the game (ex: Murphy is playable on the gamepad to help Rayman continue through out the stage). I really like the rock music stages. It's like I'm playing a music video. I also like the fast pace of these stages. The songs are also really catchy. The controls are very simple and finding secret rooms to help save the teensies (probably spelt that wrong) is really cool (even though at the end for me I always mange to miss one). I think this game will be perfect for people who really like rayman or want to get into the rayman series. Now the final game is.... TALES OF XILLIA
I love the Tales series. I've heard about this game for awhile now and think it's going to be pretty cool. It already came out in Japan in 2011, but it is coming out in Europe and the US this year. The fact there are two main characters this time buts kind of a twist in the Tales series tradition. I really like some of the changes Namco is applying to the series. I can't wait to see what Namco did with this game.
Like I said, there are a lot of amazing games coming out this year. Grand Theft Auto V (even though I personally don't like that game) ZombiU, Kingdom Hearts 1.5 Remix (in Japan; I don't know about America yet. Some say it's a Japanese exclusive but no one knows for sure) etc. 2013 looks like another amazing year for gaming. Hope you gamers out there have a very Happy New Year. Those are my thoughts.
